This project is implemented as part of the project titled: “CONCORDIA. Identity, heritage, dialogue, integration of Przemyśl" implemented as part of the "Together We Change Przemyśl" project co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2012-2021, one of the elements of which is the creation of the "Przemyśl Fortress Mural Trail". As part of the trail, 3 murals will be created on the following objects:
- tenement house at J. Słowackiego 29 street
- tenement house at B. Chrobrego 58 street
- block of flats at Rzeczna 10 street
The artist of the painting works is Eliasz Dyrow, an artist from Jarosław, who has created numerous paintings and sculptures.
The project, implemented by the Association of Fortress Communes of the Przemyśl Fortress, involves marking out three thematic trails: "Trail of murals of the Przemyśl Fortress", "Trail of urban facilities of the Przemyśl Fortress" "Trail of war cemeteries of the Przemyśl Fortress", creating an interactive map with thematic trails, and a film promoting the implemented project.
As part of the "Train of Urban Facilities of the Przemyśl Fortress", plaques will be installed on 15 facilities of the former Przemyśl Fortress located in Przemyśl. The boards will contain basic information related to a given facility, i.e. construction date, original function, as well as a QR code with a link to an interactive map with a full description of the facility along with archival photos.
Completion of the entire project is scheduled for April 15, 2024.
