The conference and historical reconstruction will tell about the multinational Przemyśl Fortress
Mayor of the City of Przemyśl, Director of the National Museum of the Przemyśl Land, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Fortress Communes of the Przemyśl Fortress and President of the Przemyśl Association of Historical Reconstruction "X D.O.K." invite you to the Conference "Przemyśl Fortress - Fortress of Nations and Reconciliation". The event will take place on December 16, 2023 at the National Museum of the Przemyśl Land. A day later, at the Fort X Orzechowce battery, we will see the historical reconstruction "Christmas Eve in the trenches".
The "Przemyśl Fortress - Fortress of Nations and Reconciliation" conference, dedicated to the participation of soldiers of various nationalities in the fights for the Przemyśl Fortress, is an element of the "CONCORDIA" project. Identity, heritage, dialogue, integration of Przemyśl", which is part of the project: "Together We Change Przemyśl".
The conference will be attended by speakers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and, of course, Poland. They will talk about their compatriots who shed blood on the land of Przemyśl and who are still buried in war cemeteries. There will also be a short debate, the questions of which will not be known to the participants.

And on December 17, the second part of the event awaits us, announced by the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Fortress Communes of the Przemyśl Fortress, Mirosław Majkowski:
- The next day we plan to stage a small but very symbolic historical spectacle, "Christmas Eve in the Trenches", near Fort X Orzechowce in the area of the planned Battlefield Open-Air Museum. Be there with us. It will be loud and moving. After the show, we invite everyone to Fort X Orzechowce for a bonfire. On site you will be able to buy a hot meal, tea, and if you want, you can take your sausage with you and fry it on the fire and eat a meal together with the soldiers.
The organizers were supported in preparing the reconstruction by: Deputy Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Piotr Pilch, Mayor of the Przemyśl Commune Andrzej Huk, and Bogusław Słabicki, Mayor of the Orły Commune.
The project "CONCORDIA. Identity, heritage, dialogue, integration of Przemyśl" is an element of the project: "Together We Change Przemyśl" financed from external funds, 85% from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 and 15% from the state budget under the program Local Development.
